Richard founded London Home Surveys in 2010 with a vision to provide homebuyers with truly comprehensive surveying services. With over 20 years' experience in property surveying, Richard has conducted more than 3,000 surveys across London and the Southeast. He specializes in complex building surveys of period properties and has extensive knowledge of Victorian and Georgian architecture.
Richard's approach combines technical expertise with clear communication, ensuring clients fully understand their property's condition. His background includes residential surveying, commercial property assessment, and expert witness work in property disputes.
James Kensington
James joined our team of chartered building surveyors in 2015, bringing with him a wealth of experience in residential property surveying. He has completed over 1,500 RICS surveys across West London and Central London, developing particular expertise in leasehold properties and modern apartment blocks.
Known for his meticulous attention to detail and friendly demeanor, James regularly receives praise from clients for his helpful and detailed survey reports. He has a degree in Building Surveying and is actively involved in continuing professional development within the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Sophie is an experienced chartered building surveyor who joined London Home Surveys in 2017.
